A Quarry At Gouverneur of Important Proportions - Newsy Notes From the Lively Village.
----
Gouverneur, Sept. 9.— Within the past few days A. A. Potter, Geo. H. Robinson and Patrick Mason have discovered another marble quarry in this village It is located on the Turnbull property outside of the city limits. The company has had a diamond drill at work which has been sunk to the depth of thirty feet, working all the way through solid blue marble. The properly has been purchased and it is the intention of the company, providing the marble proves to be as good as what they have already inspected, to construct a large plant with several gangs. The gentlemen interested in the new enterprise are thoroughly reliable and successful business men.
