Mr. Broderick, Fire Company Captain, DIes
Thomas S. Broderick of 1861 Ninth Ave., Watervliet, died to-day at Samaritan Hospital after a brief illness.
The son of the late Michael F. and Mary Sheehan Broderick ran a contracting business with his father and was captain of the Watervliet Volunteer Fire Dept., of the Protection Hose Company. Retired for the last five years, he was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church, a member of its Holy Name Society and
a member of the Exempt Fireman's Association.
Surviving Broderick are two brothers, Frank A. Sr. of Troy and Harold of Halesite.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 9 a.m. from the McNulty Funeral Home, 147 Hudson Ave., Green Island, and at 9:30 from St. Patrick's Church where a Mass of the Resurrection will be sung. Interment will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery.
