      Pierre Joseph Monahan, son of Kiearn Monahan and Margaret Ann Rowan, was ordained a priest in 1909. In 1932 he was appointed Bishop for the diocese of Calgary, and in 1935 was appointed Archbishop at Regina, Saskatchewan. He died 6 May 1947 in Regina.
